December 15th is Give It Forward Day!

Here's what you need to know:

Every 10th person to order a giveGreater card from
The Community Foundation on December 15th will receive a giveGreater card valued at $500*

Step 1: Between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM EST on December 15, 2011, order a giveGreater card of any amount at www.cfgnh.org.

Step 2: Give the giveGreater card as a thank you, birthday gift or holiday present to a friend, co-worker, boss or family member who can designate the value of the card to any nonprofit on www.giveGreater.org.

Step 3: If you're one of the people to receive a bonus giveGreater card valued at $500, use the card yourself to designate its value to your favorite nonprofit on www.giveGreater.org OR Give It Forward as a present to someone else who can designate its value.

Step 4: Feel GREAT about supporting your local community this holiday season and introducing your friends and family to the good work of our nonprofits.

*Applies to 10th unique person, not 10th card ordered. This is the LAST giving incentive offered by The Community Foundation as part of its I Give It Forward campaign to increase giving and new donors to local nonprofits. $500 giveGreater cards will be given out on December 15 until campaign funds are spent.

The tears are no longer pooled. They stream down her cheeks. Master’s Manna is her third attempt in one day to obtain help. A quiet corner in the Family Dining Center is exactly what she needs as a hot bowl of soup is placed before her. A volunteer’s outstretched arms reach for and comfort her now crying baby. After finishing her soup she is fortified to share her need. An hour later she leaves with diapers, infant clothes, a coat for herself, food, an appointment to speak with a counselor the next day and something more important… Hope.”

Life at Master’s Manna is as varied as the people coming through the doors. Some seek groceries, clothing, a shower, clean clothes, hot meal, or just a “safe haven”. Master’s Manna has succeeded in providing for the needs of literally thousands of individuals this year.
